I haven't submitted anything in a while.

Today I went out and took some photos of buildings along a road not far away from me. These certainly aren't the most interesting photos I took, but these are the ones I feel like uploading right now.

Note that practically all of these photos were probably taken with the camera inadvertently tilted. I am far from a professional photographer!

I get the feeling that it's my digital camera that caused the backgrounds of the center photographs to be lighter than the corresponding parts of the ones on the sides, but it could very well be my own inexperience.

Oh well. Enjoy.

You should sneak over there one night and rearrange the letters. You could spell "A Sea Tiger" or "A Rat Siege"... or something like that.

If your camera is set to auto metering it will try and balance out the exposure of the composition. So the high contrast of the white letters on black probably led your camera to believe that there was less light than what there really was an it overexposed it. It's pretty easy to fix that in photoshop using Levels.
